Destructo Bots 0.9.4 Beta Release

Hey all!
Sorry for the camera glitch in v0.9.3 and v0.9.4B, should be all good now.
I've also added multi undo in painting to say sorry.
for 0.9.4C I've made the workshop/paint camera stop spinning when you grab the bot and not move.

Number of changes and fixes in v0.9.3

• Awesome new laser beam

• Saw launchers work 100% now
  
  • Fixed issue with bot being unable to drive after being hit by saw blades

• Flame thrower and laser work like Robot Rage where they do one hit damage per charge.
  
  • Laser beam stops after 2 seconds now.

• Chatting no longer makes bot drive

uhm...how did I miss the 0.9.2? lol

Never ended up posting it. It was same as 0.9.2 but had fixed graphics.

When I play the screen constantly shakes and wobbles, it's more or less impossible to play properly or see what's going on!

Although from what I can see I like the new arena!

First guess is something wrong with the rebound script, but sometimes it garbles the sound also...

Yup, camera definitely has problems. Not sure about anything else...

Will look into it tonight..

Add an epilepsy warning.

I'll wait for version without camera errors, still using 0.9.0

Ive now uploaded V0.9.4 to fix the camera issue.
I've also added multi undo to the painting screen. (5 undo's, just realised that on PC it can be more as there is more memory, but I'll do that next build)

Ok people, new issue.. I'll have to have another look at it Bit busy lately so work is a bit slow. Expect something later next week.

I assume you mean the fact I can see nothing but a black screen in battle? :L

...on the bright side, the flashing screen issue was fixed

Ok, the screen is working now, there still is an isue with the micro bot exploding at the release and bots fly in the air at the collision lol, but otherwise zxc controls are working now

Ok, Jork and I were playing a couple games and found out in multi-player you see the other guy's paintjob incorrectly. It shows their chasis paintjob on BOTH their chasis and their tower instead of showing the tower paintjob. (we tried going into the paintshop and drawing to make sure it would re-upload them, and it didn't fix anything)

That is because the paintjob has been edited. you must make sure the picture is the only layer, otherwise the opponent will not see the pj

The chasis picture shows up, the tower does not. The tower actually shows a copy of the chasis picture. This happened to both of our bots.

ye this has been happening since the first release. the issue is putting pictures ontop of other pictures.

What i found helped was deleting everything in paint (should be white) and then copy paste 1 picture on it once. do not add anything else or it wont be visible to your opponent.

i wouldnt suggest adding to a paint job in paint, otherwise this will happen.

think it made perfect sense if you meant to say that you need to copy  ready image to the template...but actually that makes no sense

yes that is what i meant. I have no idea how the program discriminates between this
