*Ultimate RR Ideas Contest*

Ever had an idea you really want to see in RR? Well OF COURSE! We all have good ideas. Eh, well, most of us. This is your chance to give us your good ideas! I will take all the ideas and make polls. The top 35 will go to the master poll. Whoever has the most votes (through all their ideas combined) wins a prize!

If you are submitting a weapon, be sure to give ALL its stats. Cost, (if it is credit), damage, how many you get, weight, where it goes, everything! Plus a rough idea of what it looks like. If you know how, a drawing would be nice.

If you are submitting an arena it is REQUIRED you have a drawing and tell us what every part of it does.

If you are submitting any other idea, don't make it obvoius like "fix the points". Yeah we all want that. Be original. Tell us a CERTAIN rating system, be specific.

Do not make anything too powerful, underpowered, or impossible to program. Raketspel might read these forums, lololol.

Well, start submitting ideas to RR. Submit as many as you want, but don't spam or something. And dont like, quintouple post or whatever. Good luck and have fun!

Monthly Awards

Paint jobs:
Players submit pictures of Robots they've seen in the lobby, best one wins.

Points:
The player that has gained the most points during the Month.

Most Wins:
The player who won the most games during the Month.

Maybe even some kind of Reward!

"Default" Paint jobs.

I few Basic Paints that you could use towards your own Paint job, instead of everyone having Pure Black bots or a Smiley face.

Profile Page.

When viewing someones bot in the lobby under the "Challenge" button we could have a "Profile" button that would open a pop up window with more information on that players Profile and all their bots, it could include Awards they've won and a recent battle history.

Weaponry
Sword - Superpack 3
5 damage, Front/back
Looks like a standards sword, sticks out the end of a bot. Can do damage if a bot hits the front OR the sides of it, unlike the rollingpin or the spear gun.
Space - 5
Weight - 5

Poison spreader - Superpack 3
Damages opponent at the rate of damage the regen heals, whatever that is.
Looks like a purpley glue with bubbles. Half the diameter of glue. Back only
Space - 2
Weight - 3

Cannon - Superpack 3
40 damage, 3 shots, Tower
Obviously looks like a cannon.
Does big damage quickly, shoots a little further than flames with a bigger explosion. Kinda like a shooting land mine, as it will push them back a little. Very good anti-claw.

Lightning Summoner - Superpack 3
Doubles speed for 5 seconds, 2 uses, Tower
Doesn't show on a bot
Space - 4
Weight - 2

Side Axe - Superpack 3
14 damage, Front
Two axes come in across the sides to do damage
Space - 4
Weight - 6

Grapple hook - Superpack 3
3 uses, rear
When fired brings the opponent quickly back to the nearest wall. Away from the opponent.

3 small wheels - Comes with superpack 3
6 turning, 2 grip
Looks like 3 wheels, but bigger.

If anyone is looking for some unique ideas to the RR world, try looking up video's on youtube pertaining to the old tv show BATTLEBOTS. After all, that is the show that gave inspiration to create this game

Watch Mode:
Watch Battles, and Bet credits on whos gonna win, if you win you earn x2 of your bet amount. If you lose you lose ur bet credits. Simple as that...

Mission Mode:
Clear Different Challenges..
- Robot Battles against Computer
- Break Targets Around Stage in some Time
You Earn Rewards Like....
- Points/Credits
- Some Rare Robot Parts, or Robot Part Recolours.

Paintshop Templates
Choose between different Premade Paints, may need Credits/Cash to use.
Maybe not cash since theres cheaters..

Tournament Servers
Tournament Servers open at Different Times.
A Tournament must be held at same time, cuz its easier to play and its common in games =)
Rewards im unsure of.

Weapon Customization
Change the Laser to be Short Range But Having higher damage, for example.

Fixes

Tie fix - When you run out of battery while using a battery-using weapon it is a tie. That should never happen.

Rank fix - Dropping a rank should NEVER happen. Rarely it does.

Kami fix - Kami gives you a loss 50% of the time, a tie 50%

EMP fix - EMP only gets one shot

Healing fix - Regen and forcefeild drain twice as much battery.

Armor fix - If your armor is over 249, you lose. Just like that. This helps stop hackers that manage to break through the encryption.



The Root Rankings!

If the person with more points wins, he gets 10 points. The loser loses 10.

In + and -, If the person with fewer points wins, the point gain and loss will be (10 + 16% of the difference in points)

In ++, If the person with fewer points wins, the point gain and loss will be (10 + 8% of the difference in points)

In +++, If the person with fewer points wins, the point gain and loss will be (10 + 4% of the difference in points)

In ++++, If the person with fewer points wins, the point gain and loss will be (10 + 2% of the difference in points)

In +++++, If the person with fewer points wins AND there is 4000 or less points in between their scores, the point gain and loss will be (10 + 1% of the difference in points)

In +++++, If the person with fewer points wins AND there is more than 4000 points in between them the point gain and loss will be 50.


This ranking system is very fair and balanced. It allows no more than 50 points to be won or gained in one battle. It also rewards beating higher opponents at an even rate (unless someone in 5+ has more than a 4000 point difference). It makes it difficult to get to 4+ and 5+ but not impossible, thus rewarding the best players but not making it a sign of surefire hacking (which shouldnt be too common anyways)

Nice. How about instead one use to 50% or 60% to make it more simple. I think the lightning summoner and sword are already very powerful and must take alot of space. With the sword, it sticks out very far, nearly as far as a robot, so you can just constantly turn to slash people. At only 5 damage it is still powerful. As for the lightning summoner, a claw could be deadly with it, 2 is good.

Save Pj's
Is it just me or did you guys notice the two arrows on top off your painting projection? In this idea you'll be able to save pj's and look through them later on. Then you just have to click on them and you have it on your bot.
More than two players
I got this idea from a dream I had. Once you challenge someone it will give you the option to have more than two players "single?" or "2-4?". Then the person you challenged see's something like this "IN GOD I TRUST is challenging you in a 2 to 4 battle. Accept, Decline, or forever hold your grease (peace)" <- that means that if they don't click anything they'll have a 50/50 chance of fighting or not. It would be helpful if it was In another color too. Like instead of yellow make it red.
Declining
If you decline to a robot that has less points or win percentage you automaticlaly lose 5 points. It would be helpful if it said "so and so is challenging you. Accept, decline, or forever hold your grease. IF YOU DECLINE YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY LOOSE 5 POINTS."
Status
You can either put it on "ready to rage" or "off the arena". This will cause an excuse for the "forever hold your grease", if your "off the arena". Your status will show if someone clicks on your robot
Missed challenges
If you were "off the arena" and you come back and someone tried to challenge you it will say who it was and if the person is still on you'll be able to challenge them and know exactly who challenged you.
Ranks points
Say your a minus and you fight a 5+. For some miracle you win. You win 60 points. They lose 30. "-" < "+" = +20, "-" < "++" = +30, "-" < "+++" = +40, "-" < '++++" = +50, "-" < "+++++" = +60. But if you lose... you get a whopping 0 POINTS OFF!!! If your that +,++,+++... You lose half of the points they others made. If your a +++ and you beat a +++++ you will not get +60 you will get +30. Hopefully that's not too hard to understand.
High Score List
Go to the HS and click on whatever robot you want. It will show you everything as if you were clicking on them in the lobby except for the challenge button.
Hacker Tracker
The stats of every robot should be recorded. If someone suspects that another person is a hacker than they click on the robot and press "suspect". Then the RR admin. Will go check it out. If someone has three false alarms they can't suspect another person for 3 days.
Lobby Chat
There should be a chat room in the lobby so that people can track others, send messages,battle schedules, etc...

i like all those except, hold the grease, possibly the ranks if i understand it.

Buddy System
Add Friends.
You can send your friends presents if you want to.

Add Foes/Rivals/Bully
You block them from challenging you, but you can still battle them.

Week/Holiday Events
Add events like 1 day in the week you get 10 extra points when you win.
and like for halloween you make new textures for the arena scary like, and then when its done you change back. and you might have competitions like on halloween so the winner gets spooky recolours.

Credit Weaponry

The Puncher - 400 credits
2 Damage bashing, 7 Damage Punching - Front
Basically a burst piston with a boxing glove attached to the end. So when you press a buton it shoots out, doing damage and pushing the enemy back.
Space - 2
Weight - 2

Dart Gun - 40 credits
30 damage - 2 shots - Tower
2 Darts on the sides of the tower that fire slightly down. So it will damage someone who has no tower however it cannot shoot forever. Like a laser.
Space - 1
Weight - 1

Marble Shooter - 130 credits
10 damage - 10 shots - Front/Back
The marbles will curve a little to get the opponent, however they wont make circles around a bot or go around walls.
Space - 3
Weight - 4

Clan System
Make your own Clan, it will showup at bot info.
there will also be a Clan server only clan members will see.
You may have Ranks and title up or down members.
you also get ur own Logo/Emblem.

Buyable Super Powers
Armor Boost
Cost: 1100
+100 Armor for 1 day

Speed Boost
Cost: 1000
+10 Speed for 1 day

Attack Boost
Cost: 1200
x2 Damage for all your weapons for 1 day

Buyable .... Items
Invisibility Cloack
Cost: 500
Makes your bot Invisible for 10 rounds, probably around 3-4 battles

Flat Cloack
Cost: 500
Makes your bot look Flat, like a paper, So the front is very thin

Flat Cloack II
Cost: 500
Makes your bot look flat, like a paper, So the sides are very thin

Fireworks
Cost: 1000
Theres fireworks at the stage when you play

Snow
Cost: 1000
Snowing when ya play

Void
Cost: 1000
Like Flash Bombs except black, effects you and ur opponent.

What? Most of those should be free like the Fireworks, Snow, and both of the flat cloaks

1.Make the Cloaking Device completely invisible but not to yourself. Only to the opponent.

2.You can buy any regular Super weapon with regular credits for 1200-1400 credits.

3.Super Pack 3: Kind of like a cannon sticking out [only] in the front of a robot. Looks kinda
like the mini-gun but with a huge hole in it (obviously like a cannon).
You press your desired key once and it shoots out a blue ball with fire
on it.It sticks to wherever it lands. The point of it is to stick it to
the opponent and press the same key again to blow it up. You can also
just stick it on the ground and make him run over it and blow him up
but that would be just like a remote mine.

what it does: drop it, u have 5 of them and the pollen from the flower, if they run over it u can see exactly where they are through walls: they have a bright green dot on them to identify where they are.

Edit: For the post above, the idea of the cannon is nice but blows them up? so its a auto-loss?

I heres a type of alter i think for it, you have 1 shot, its called the lose healther, lol it attaches to them and does a 1 damage per second?

I have some ideas for some cool features that could be incorporated to make money..

I love the change password option but it's obvious people would abuse the image upload idea. People would upload porn images or offensive images onto their robots, but it would be nice if a moderator could remove the paintjob because then they would have waisted 5 bucks .
