How To Pixel Paint

How to Pixel Paint Images onto your robot:


Step 1: Download Zoom + http://www.gipsysoft.com/zoomplus/zoomplus.zip

Step 2: Get your PJ you wish to paint I suggest something very easy.

Step 3: Open up Robot Rage and go to your workshop on the robot you wish to paint on.

Step 4: Get your image you wish to paint. In windows paint or on a better magnifying program. PaintShop: Open up your picture. Select the magnify tool magnify 8x on it in a selected area. Photo Shop CS2: Open your image and use the navigator and make it 1600 so you can see every pixel.

Step 5: Open up Zoom+ and press ctrl+m. Now click on it, a red rectangle should appear. Drag the red rectangle to the area you wish to paint (this should hold the area of the screen).

Step 6: Now with this done go back to RR. If your zoom+ is behind your RR screen set it to on top.

Step 7: Open up magnifier in windows. Start> All programs> Accessories> Accessibility> Magnifier. Set Magnifier to 4x.

Step 8: Click on RR, (if your zoom+ screen changes go back to the image and select it again).

Step 9: With your image ready and your mouse able to be seen easily. start painting.

Step 1: Get a image to paint (Do easy Image)

Step 2: Open it up in Paint, (file path= D:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories)

Step 3: Zoom up onto the picture so you can have a good look at it.

Step 4: Open Zoom+ (download link at bottom).

Step 5: Move Zoom+ to the top right corner of your screen. And then click and hold the mouse on it and move it over the picture in Paint. (This should give you a picture of it in Zoom+).

Step 6: Right-click on the bottom of Zoom+ and make sure it says always on top (might also be in tools or something).

Step 7: Now get into Robot Rage and open up your robot you are going to paint this on. Enter the paint shop.

Step 8: Click on Robot Rage, the zoom+ image should change so just repeat Step 5 again, now click on Robot Rage again and this should stay the same.

Step 9: Open Windows Magnifier (file path= D:\Documents and Settings\Kid\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\Accessibility).

Step 10: Set the Magnifier to 3 or 4 and you are ready to paint, take it slow and steady so it looks really good.

I have another suggestion how to do pixel painting: Just Do It!

That doesn't work that's for Nike, and it's not very helpful for pixel painting.

Very helpful . However you don't need to download zoomyplus just set magnifyer to "6".

Better set magnifier to 8 and also zoom the picture you want to paint in paint 8 times or max if you use Vista( there are no numbers of zoom if you use Vista).

ya i zoom picture in and use zoom + for the RR painting. thanks for straitening that up Jork.

Also for all you beginners at this start easy (use super simple pic) i always see most of you guys start super hard and it always looks like crap unless you spend lots of time on it. (not that im any good at Pixel painting)
