Fastest Wheels

Is anybody in here up for a research for the fastest overall wheels?
I had an idea some time ago, we could even make it a tournament which wouldn't require any of you guys to be online in the needed time to play against your opponent. This would be more like a post your video and done, you can make it at any free time you find.
So, back to idea...There should be made a route we need to go starting with 3 small and ending with 6 large wheels. In the end of the tournament we would find out who is the fastest on his type of wheels and overall fastest wheels in the game.
Any thoughts, suggestions?

my thoughts are that the lightest wheel is fastest.... or maybe the one with the most grip... lol

I think the 6 big wheels are the fastest, if you can drive them well enough to make sharp corners so you don't make additional meters on your track

6 large wheels is easymode. just dont go forward when you turn ._.

Those are just guesses, let's find out?

At top speed, all of the wheels have equal speed, but 6 large wheels give you the fastest acceleration, so it will improve your time slightly. This is why 6 large wheels were the most common wheel type in tournaments. But 3 wheels can be good for quick turns. For example, against a Claw, you'll need to always be facing their claw with the front of the bot, ie your own claw or a spear gun. 3 wheels also gives you the best accuracy with a laser, but 6 wheels gives you the best lag pass.

Hmmm are you sure 6 wheels do not also go slightly faster on a straight track because they have more grip ? It's just an idea in my head, I have no idea really

I dont see how anyone could question the over all speed of 6 wheels. more grip so they accel so much faster than any other type. corners are no problem whatsoever.
i dont think that the designer really made it so 3 wheels are faster, there is no difference on the stats for weight. even if they are faster they have super slow accel, so it really doesnt matter. :/

I think that "fast" is kind of vague... 3 small wheels turn faster than 6 large wheels, but you go faster while turning with 6 large wheels...

Yes, all the wheels have different Turning and Grip, but which are the best overall wheels, I was thinking we could set a route on the rooftop and drive with all the wheels through it (with different engines). And to make results more likely to be true there should be more than 1 person to test it, that's why I would like to make it like competition, c'mon guys can't you find some free time?
Ok, let's set it like this, I'll post the route a little bit later Today and then for 2 weeks we need to test at least 3 small wheels, then we'll move on to 3 large

Ok, here is the route, pretty short, but not easy.

um... what engine + chassi + tower + battery + weapons + armor do we have to use... all affects the overall speed.

Ok, let's just go with small chassi, about engines, we could pretty much test just the deluxe ones. No tower, 1 alkaline or hydrogene battery (doesn't matter lol). No need for weapons yet.

And armor? BTW I'm voting for 6 large wheels...

I did the testing, but had 2 batteries equiped... If I am the 1st one to post the results, everyone esle should also use 2 batteries...
I did calculations and the times are:
3 small wheels
with small engine deluxe 25,7 seconds (was easy to drive, but I felt some luck of speed at straight)
with medium engine deluxe 26,2 seconds (didn't give much of improvement at straights, but made it harder at turns)
with large engine deluxe 25,5 seconds (gave me the speed I was asking for, but I had to fight real hard at turns)


I counted only the time from 1st movement sings till I touched finish wall!
