RR Usefull Free Stuff Database

This Topic has the intention of gathering internet links to usefull and free Software for Robotrage and any other Software that you may like and want to share with us.So whenever you remember a program you think other people should know of .. post it here ! By all means ! and don't forget to include a link to where we can find it, that last bit is very important.




I hope the list will grow over time and many people will contribute and make use of this database.Please, and I can not stress this enough, do NOT post anything that appears hazardous , contains or could contain a virus or anything of that kind.If that happens I will notify the admin at once.

I will kick off with the great Matrix screensaver I found No worries people, garanteed virusfree.like all the other software that will be posted.
The pictures are of the settings as I have them but in the settings menu of this free screensaver you can modify the color of the symbols, the color of the highlights, the density, Matrix number trace - story on/off and many other things.

Okay guys very usefull stuff ! and great that you included pictures.The descriptions are clear but don't be afraid to make them even longer, you will bore no one.

Here is the link to a website that has motherload of riskfree and good quality free programs, I always go there to take like any software I need.The list of usefull programs is too long to mention here, take a look for yourself, maybe I will post some individual programs from that site later on.

The even greater thing about this site is that it offers all previous versions of a certain program .. so in case you don't like the latest update of your favorite program you can actually find and install an oldskool version !

Nice. In fact, I am writing a program in Visual Basic that will include both the auto-clicking and auto-typing functions with more advanced settings.

Too bad MouseTamer is in limited demo version...

I use a firefox add on called Download helper to download all my music for free from youtube.It saves the files at a lossless quality and you can que downloads by starting a download and refreshing the page, you can then surf anywhere else and it will download all the files you have lined up this way as soon as the previous one is done.



The setback is they are saved as an FLV file and if anyone knows a good free converter to change FLV files into MP3 files, please let me know, I have thousands of music clips in my folder so it must be one that can convert them all (with one command) instead of me having to manually convert them one by one !

I would also love to have an MP3 player or walkman that plays FLV so I can just load up my music to go but I have not found one yet .. if you know of a portable player that does that, let me know please !

Hey does anyone know a program that can change the color of the webpages online ? I like to surf but late at night all the white (in for instance google) really hurts my eyes, I wish they had alike program that displays bright colors darker or changes the color, I don't know if such a thing allready exists ?

Hm... that would be pretty cool... but you could always turn the lights on in your house or you could adjust the screens brightness...

Another piece of good advice I really appriciate it and it's true but I was asking about a possible software program ? I have the feeling that as soon as you guys do not know something, you mysteriously transform into my mom. I'm not sure how she would feel about that

There is no such a program invented...at least not yet. Changing screen brightness and leaving lights on as IGIT already mentioned is probably the best solution.

Well thank you for your response. My brightness is allready as low as it can get, so I guess I will have to live with it. If I leave my lights on I will not be able to sleep 4 sure . . lol

Free FLV to Audio
Converter

I have been looking a very long time to find free software that converts FLV
files into Mp3 without any loss of quality and finally I found it. Why is this handy
you ask ? Youtube offers music video's with very decent audio in the FLV format
and if you convert them into Mp3 you have all that music for your pocket player.
You must first grab the video and store it on your pc, for this I use the firefox add
on called: downloadhelper (see my previous post on this) then convert into Mp3
or any other audio format of your choice. The results are amazing .. brilliant
audio .. even though it may sound as a hassle it's really not. The same software
company offers similar free programs for other formats. Have fun with it

In case anyone reads this: Another usefull item I just found is this Mp3 download
application called: Music2pc Easy install and the program is also
very simple in design. You can download from a 100 million songs of choice with
tremendous speed (10 seconds max!), for free and there are no limits and no catch.
